Access to Photography

The Access to Photography course is designed as a first step in photography here at New College Lanarkshire.  If you are interested in pursuing a career in photography then this course will give you the opportunity to learn more about how a camera works, how to take better pictures and how to work in a professional studio.  Additionally, you will have classes in digital imaging and will learn other skills such as organisation, team work, communication and ICT skills.

The Access to Photography course runs from January until June and requires attendance of 3 days per week.

Successful completion of the Access to Photography course may allow you to progress onto one of our higher level courses such as the NQ Photography or HNC Photography courses.

This course is delivered in our Coatbridge campus in our fully equipped photographic studio and digital editing rooms.
