We are delighted to announce the launch of a photography competition which is taking place over the next month in partnership with St Andrew’s Hospice.
Following on from a successful work experience programme last semester where our HND students gained experience photographing some of the St Andrew’s Hospice events over October, November and December we are pleased to be continuing this collaboration.
Students from all Full-Time Photography courses at New College Lanarkshire will be shooting images which interpret the hospice values of Care, Compassion, Love, Peace and Tranquility. These images will then be reviewed by the judging panel with the 12 best images submitted being chosen for inclusion in the St Andrew’s Hospice calendar for 2019. Additionally, the best image judged overall within the competition will be given recognition by being used as the calendar front cover.
Winning entries will collect their awards at a prize giving ceremony to be held in June.
We are looking forward to seeing the entries from all of our students and finding out what the judges selections are.
The final calendar will be on sale from October at all St Andrew’s Hospice shops and events.
